Appliances and Electronics purchased from Standard TV and Appliance (STVA) may be returned for full refund/credit or exchange within 30 days of pickup or delivery under the following conditions:
- Merchandise was not special ordered as referred on the sales order for that item.
- Merchandise is in the original condition and includes the box, all packaging, UPC bar code and accessories.
Items excluded from the return policy: Air conditioners and barbeque grills.
Return and Exchange Guidelines
- Charges for installation and delivery services are nonrefundable after the services have been performed.
- An item cannot be returned unless that item appears on a sales order (proof of purchase) from STVA.
- Cash and Carry purchases must be returned with the original sales receipt.
- A minimum 15% restocking fee will be charged for products returned without the original box containing all original packaging and accessories (up to 50% if any of the aforementioned components are worn or used) and for appliances that have been installed and/or used.
- There is no restocking fee for defective product returned in exchange for another upon approval from the manufacturer.
- Refunds are credited to the original credit card. Cash, check or debit purchases are issued by check from our corporate office within 14 days of the return date.
- Purchases made by Store Credit, Gift Certificate or Gift Card will be refunded as Store Credit.
Missing Accessories
The value of the missing items will be deducted from the credit amount. For exchanges, we will only exchange the returned components (e.g. box for box, part for part, manual for manual, etc.)
Product Damage Any product damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and/or pick-up to be eligible for return or exchange consideration. Eligible product must be returned and/or exchanged in its original box with original packaging, UPC Bar Code and accessories.
Manufacturer Defect We will replace your product within the first 7 days of delivery/purchase if the unit has a functional defect that has been diagnosed by a factory-certified technician and cannot be repaired within 3 business days (within our service area), i.e. parts not available. After 7 days a factory-certified technician will repair service-related issues under the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty.
Special-Order Product
- A restocking fee of 50% will be charged on all Special-Order Products, unless concealed damage is found or the unit is deemed unrepairable by a factory certified technician.
- Special Orders cancelled after 1 business day (M-F) are subject to a 15% order cancellation fee.
Promotional Items and Rebates Any product that is returned without the promotional item included with the original transaction (e.g. Buy TV, get FREE wall mount, Buy washer, get FREE pedestal, etc.) will have the value of the promotional item deducted from the refund. Any product purchase that included a mail-in rebate is subject to having the amount of the rebate deducted from the refund amount.
